First principles: Because Science is a music project by Frank Arban.

All tracks are recorded in a makeshift home studio/lab. Songs emerge from pencil-written scribblings in a notebook, are fed through wires connecting the machines that create and record the sounds, and finally mixed on the computer.

Every new song idea is a hypothesis, each recording session an experiment, every release a technical publication.

There is a science to music. There are the mathematics of meter, the wavelengths of sound, and the lexicology of rhyme. There are frequencies and amplitudes, vibrations, electrical signals... 

Music is both a cause and an effect. It is the effect of the process of creation and the cause of the brain lighting up, triggering emotions, memories, forging connections.

Music is a language, spoken at the junction of science and poetry, mathematics and emotion. Grab a lab coat and dance.
